Volunteer Opportunities

Dave Buttgen w Fish Farmers in Malawi

FCC Berryville offers a range of volunteer opportunities in Berryville—and World Wide—to enable members to use their worldly and spiritual gifts to serve others and to “Build a Community of Hope.”

Now, and over the years, FCC volunteers have prepared dinners and luncheons for community groups, traveled to Africa to help beginning farmers through USAID, planned and held garage sales, sold produce and flowers at our Farmers’ Markets, and are reliable and faithful volunteers at our local food bank, Loaves & Fishes.

Current Opportunities:

Food Bank: clerical, data entry, and food distribution positions at Loaves & Fishes. Friday, between 10 AM and 2 PM, 1 to 4 hour periods.

At the Church: clerical, administrative, and social services referrals. Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, 1 to 8 hour periods.

Carroll County Literacy Council:  one on one tutoring assistance in reading, math, job skills, computers, ESL. Contact: cclc.berryville@gmail.com or 870-505-1556.
